Texas Renaissance Festival 2008

Flip, Sadd, Morgan, Morgan's spawn, and myself went to the Texas Renaissance Fesitval this past weekend. It was a very beautiful day. I consumed a sausage on a stick, a funnel cake, and an apple dumpling. I was mad at myself for not being able to eat the corn on the cobb. Disappointing indeed.

I spent a lot of the time there searching for the elusive chain mail chick. hehe. Check out the album to see if I found her. :)

The thing is, in the final chain mail pic... they're both wearing the same armor - it's just the male and female versions...

I wanted to say that the Chain mail images, (The first and the last) that you took, were of the same chain mail creation. All were made by Lord Randolph. I am also one of "The Chain mail girls" however I am not in your images. Might I ask what you were wanting to find us for? ^_^

If you want to see all of them, you can go to Lord Randolph's site and see all of his images. www.chainmail.com If you go to the bottom of the page and click on the "no frames" link under the " A Renaissance Diary" link, you will be able to see all the images of the girls for the past 10 years or so from all the fairs that he does.

thanks Cassidy! I normally don't see too many at Renfest anymore. There used to be a lot more. I was looking for a really fancy one this time for a friend. The closest I got was the last shot I took.

Hey! I think I found my girl on that chainmail site! I stalked her for like 10 minutes before I finally got the courage to ask her for a picture. I was super proud of myslef for finally doing it. http://www.chainmail.com/diary/diaryindxfrm.htm

Are you going to post a shot of the elusive chain mail girl or keep it as a warm secret?
